TYRANNY'S WORLDS

Home of the Jo Wilkins & Richard Draude's Tyranny Series

Series Background

In 2065 Aga Jahan’s discovery of the hyperdrive opens the way for Earth's exploration of the stars. By the year 2368 the colonies of Earth have spread out across the galaxy. After a number of wars and disputes the colonists settle into a period of relative peace and prosperity.

There are those, however, who will always turn peace into chaos for their own enrichment. By this time, the privateers, a remnant of the trading company established by Earth to carry freight in the early years of colonization, are among these groups. With the privateers abandoned by Earth, their splintered bands wreak havoc to survive. Gathered together, now, and under the leadership of Amanda Callin, a woman as ruthless as she beautiful, they appear out of nowhere to raid ships moving freight. They take what they need and kill when and where they please.

The Colonial Intergalactic Authorities have come close to capturing Callin, but lately, the privateer strike and disappear. For the last eight years the authorities have hunted Callin and her thugs without success. In spite of everything the CIA simply cannot locate her hideout.

The Tyranny Series centers on the struggles of one company carrying freight and passengers across the shipping lanes. Jahan Transports, owned by Elise Jahan Danion and her father Tom, struggles to make ends meet, as they run their company out of the colony of Fallon. Tom Danion manages the office while Elise pilots the Capricorn; one of Jahan transports(’) eight shuttles, with her enigmatic co-pilot of three years, Russ Edwards. Together, they ferry passengers and freight to the colonies and dodge danger and mayhem at every drop zone.
